Effective date: 20th of August 2026
These Terms & Conditions of Sale govern purchases, downloads and use of digital products supplied by 850 Modding through 850modding.com and its Sellfy-powered store. By placing an order, the customer agrees to these Terms and any product-specific information displayed before purchase.
Nothing in these Terms limits any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer law.
Important licence summary
Products are modifications for American Truck Simulator unless the product page expressly states otherwise. Before purchase, the customer must review the product description, included content, supported game version, required files, installation instructions and any stated load order.
Customers are advised to complete active deliveries before updating American Truck Simulator and to check the compatibility page before loading an existing profile after a major game update.
Unless a product is identified as a pre-order, digital files are normally made available after payment through the order-confirmation page, the customer's Sellfy account and the download link sent to the purchase email address.
Subject to compliance with these Terms, the customer receives a limited, non-exclusive, personal and non-transferable licence to install and use the purchased or downloaded product with compatible game installations under the customer's control.
Customers may display ordinary gameplay, screenshots, recorded videos and livestreams featuring 850 Modding products. Private edits that are permitted under Section 6 may also be shown in screenshots and videos. The customer must not claim authorship of the product or misrepresent its creator or credits.
Free products: Private personal edits are permitted unless a product page states otherwise. An edited free product may be used privately and shown in screenshots or videos, but the edited files may not be distributed, reuploaded, sold, monetised or released publicly.
Paid products: Paid products may not be opened, accessed or modified for editing purposes unless 850 Modding has given prior written permission.
Permission to make a private edit never includes permission to redistribute the product, reuse its assets in another release or provide the edited files to another person. A specific written permission from 850 Modding may grant additional rights only to the extent expressly stated in that permission.
The following actions are prohibited for both paid and free products:
These restrictions do not prevent the ordinary screenshots, videos or livestreams permitted under Section 5.
This update entitlement applies to the purchased product and does not automatically include a different product sold under a separate store listing.
Consumers purchasing at a distance generally have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. Special rules apply to paid digital content that is supplied without a physical medium.
Where the customer expressly requests that supply begins during the withdrawal period, acknowledges that the right of withdrawal will be lost when supply begins, and receives the legally required confirmation, the right of withdrawal ends once supply of the digital content has begun. In that situation, 850 Modding does not provide a change-of-mind refund after delivery has begun.
If the legally required consent, acknowledgement or confirmation has not been provided, any statutory withdrawal right remains unaffected. Where a right of withdrawal exists, it may be exercised through the online withdrawal function.
The following principles also apply:
Before requesting technical support, the customer should download a fresh copy, confirm the listed compatibility, verify the product-specific load order and, where relevant, test the product without unrelated mods on a clean or separate profile.
A useful technical report should include:
The currently available support options are listed on the Help & Support page. No fixed response time is guaranteed.
850 Modding may end abusive or threatening conversations and may decline optional technical assistance where ownership cannot be verified. This does not remove a customer's right to submit a statutory complaint or exercise any mandatory legal remedy.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, the products, website materials, downloadable files, models, textures, sounds, animations, definitions, code, photographs, videos, branding and written content are owned by or licensed to 850 Modding and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Product-specific credits identify third-party contributors or licensors and form part of the product information. No licence granted under these Terms transfers ownership of 850 Modding material or third-party material.
American Truck Simulator and related trademarks are the property of SCS Software. 850 Modding is independent and is not endorsed by or affiliated with SCS Software unless expressly stated.
Unauthorised sharing, redistribution, resale, asset reuse or circumvention of file protection is a material breach of these Terms. Where permitted by law and proportionate to the breach, 850 Modding may:
Nothing in this section removes mandatory consumer rights relating to a valid purchase except to the extent permitted by applicable law.
850 Modding may change prices, promotions, product descriptions, screenshots, included options and future development plans for later purchases. Such changes do not create a right to a retrospective discount and do not remove the update entitlement attached to an existing purchase.
A product may be temporarily removed from sale or discontinued. Where reasonably possible and unless access has lawfully been restricted because of a breach, existing customers will retain access to the files and updates already made available for their purchase.
850 Modding products operate within third-party game software that may be changed by its developer. Customers should back up important profiles and configuration files before installing mods or updating the game.
To the extent permitted by law, 850 Modding is not responsible for faults caused solely by incompatible third-party mods, unsupported game versions, altered files, incorrect installation, ignored load-order instructions or changes made by a third-party platform or game developer.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, or limits the remedies available to a consumer for digital content that does not conform to the agreement.
These Terms and the agreement are governed by Swedish law. A consumer also retains the protection of any mandatory consumer law that applies in the country where the consumer habitually resides.
The parties should first attempt to resolve a dispute directly through the available support options. A Swedish consumer may also request alternative dispute resolution through Allmänna reklamationsnämnden (ARN) where its requirements are met.
Disputes that cannot be resolved by agreement or an available alternative procedure may be submitted to a court with jurisdiction under applicable law.
850 Modding may update these Terms for future purchases when business practices, products, platforms or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of the page identifies the current version.
The Terms accepted when an order was placed continue to govern that order unless a later change is required by law or the parties expressly agree otherwise. A later version will not retroactively remove mandatory rights or the promised free-update entitlement attached to an existing purchase.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. A failure by 850 Modding to enforce a provision on one occasion does not waive the right to enforce it later.
These Terms, the applicable product page, the order confirmation and any expressly incorporated product-specific licence form the agreement concerning the purchase. If a product-specific written term conflicts with a general term, the product-specific term applies to that product to the extent permitted by law.
